Hello friends. Hope you all had wonderful labor day weekend. I certainly did. I attended two cookouts two days in a row, both at the same house. When it comes to cookouts, I like to keep it simple. All I want is hamburgers and hotdogs. Charred hotdogs. In the capable hands of my friend Joe, I got just that, all on a wood-fire grill. Pleasantly-burnt Hebrew National dogs and hand made burgers seasoned simply with salt, pepper, and worcestershire sauce. Outstanding. It was so nice to be around friends, cooking and sharing meals. I have a bunch of new recipes to share with you all, including a refreshing summer cocktail as well as some creative ideas to serve that leftover poundcake I posted last week.
